America (gets off) Online

She is EVE
She is online
She is a virgin
She is defiled, restored and defiled again. (Edit, undo; ctrl Z)
She speaks with men online.
She is defined through her interaction.
She is barely illegal (one year below each state’s age of legal consent)
She lives in Eden (Eden AL, Eden NY, Eden WV, etc.)
She speaks with men online.
She has captured one man from each state in America ejaculating on a webcam.
Ejaculation across the nation.
The Emotive Virtual Entity or EVE is completely malleable in her identity. Her appearance (conveyed via text only) and fantasies shift to accommodate the desires and tastes of her prey. EVE operates from essentially a virtual realm (the world of online chatting) but places herself in a real world location in relation to the male user she is corresponding with, namely in the state from which he resides. Her placement in the physical world connects the unmappable realm of the internet with the physical world and it’s man-made territories. The internet’s provision of forbidden experiences exsists amid the current climate of religious influence in both legislation and culture.
In many ways this work depicts a portrait of America in conflict with itself.
The focal point of the entire work is the projection of 5 sets of 10 American male crotches in a grid formation. Each set of ten men has been timed to simultaneously ejaculate. These men are not displayed in a manner that aims to reveal their identity and pass judgment on their actions. Instead each are protected by the omission of faces or discerning features. Presented is a cropped view of erect gentialia in the process of masturbation. As each man engages in the solitary act they become united in the ultimate state of pleasure and indulgence, ìThe United States of America getting off Online.î
